I see that it is a Win500 file. The file is going to need a lot of work. I deleted the Norman trunked system. All of the talkgroups are Phase 2 which your scanner cannot decode. The scanner would just stop on talkgroups you will not be able to hear and block receiving other traffic you can. For the same reason, I removed the wildcards from the OMACS system. The OKWIN P25 trunked system is not even in your file. That is where you will hear most of the radio traffic. It's going to take a while to fix everything.

Okay I downloaded the frequencies from radio reference.com family paid for a 3-month subscription 180 days so that's where I got all of my frequencies from. I'm trying to hear everything including businesses like retailers shopping and etc including USPS and you UPS in FedEx and DHL including fire rescue ambulance cops owe you PD Northern public schools Noble public schools CB radio ham weather spotters Norman police noble police. I don't care for anything but Norman and Noble. All Cleveland county agencies including the sheriff's department including the jail. I found my pro 95 my pro 106 and I have the Whistler WS 1040.

As a side note I also have a baofehg uvo-5ra radio and was wondering if I could use it to scan the airwaves if not how do I program it with a PC and what cable would I need to get from eBay to do so I'm also looking at getting a global walkie talkie or something could point me in the direction of a good one for a cheap price that does not require a monthly subscription I'd appreciate it?

The PRO-95 is analog only and does not support 700 MHz frequencies. The WS1040 will decode P25 Phase 1. What is your city, county, and state and which agencies would you like to monitor? For the WS1040, you can use ARC500 or PSREdit500 software. I use Butel ARC500 Basic for my PRO-106, the older brother of the WS1040. Both use the same software.
May i ask your assistance? North Bergen, Hudson, New Jersey, but trying to include in the programming New York City?Trying to program some trunk groups in Northern New Jersey. Using Butel ARC500 Pro for my WS1040 Scanner.

I jest Attach the zip file
I see that Oklahoma City is also Phase 2 which your scanner cannot monitor. I am going to add all of the conventional frequencies plus the few other trunk systems you can monitor to my original ARC500 file with the OKWIN trunked system.

Much of what you want to monitor is P25 Phase 2 which the WS1040 cannot decode. There is also a good amount of encryption. D in the Mode column means Phase 1 which your scanner can receive. T in the Mode column means Phase 2 which your scanner cannot receive. DE and TE are fully encrypted which no scanner can receive. De and Te are encrypted part of the time. You may also experience simulcast distortion which results in missed transmissions and garbled audio. If you attach your ARC500 .gr5 file, I will take a look at it to check for problems.

I attached it above already zipped and ready to be unzipped in red by arc500 if you renamed 1040 I also have a pro 95 and a pro 106 can either of them receive phase 2 if not can you recommend a cheap uniden or radio shack scanner that can pick up everything on the cheap side?

Your ARC500 file is missing the trunked systems and the alpha tags, scan lists, and squelch codes for conventional frequencies which were all included in your Win500 file. I uploaded your Win500 file to my PRO-106 and then downloaded from the scanner into ARC500 to convert the file.

I sent this post through my laptop, currently on my smartphone. Have previously attached a current file from my WS1040 scanner, but will have to go back to the laptop in forwarding a gr5 file. In advance offer my appreciate for your efforts. Thank you.
