Cloneing Rs Pro-96 To A Rs Pro-106

Hello, yes I have a Radio Shack Pro-96 with a great configuration setup in one of the V- Folders, I also have a new Radio Shack Pro-106, Do's anyone know how to get the V - Folder configuration into the new RS 106? I know that you need either the Winn%00 software or the PSREdit500 the data and the propore cable for the data set-up because the data format and the port speeds are completly different between these models. I live in Maple Grove Minnesota, so if there is anyone with the knowledge of this procedure, and would like to help I would be so grateful, After I do this I am going to sell the Pro 96, and I use Unidens and the Radio Shack Pro-106 Thanks Dave

I don't know for sure but I would think that you would have to make the V-folders the active data in the 96 and then download it to Win500 or whichever else software will work and then you should be able to upload it to the 106.

I use Win96 and Win500 and in checking them I didn't see anything about how to access the V-Folders.

I remember doing this a while back when I got my PSR-500 and sold my 96, Hoofy's pretty much got it right. You'll have to go into the Virtual Scanner option in Win96, refresh, read the contents of the virtual folders into Win96 and then save them into individual .p96 files. On the Win500 side, you'll be able to import them individually with the function from the File menu.
