I’m sorry if this has been asked but could someone please explain to me what these bands are and what typically gets broadcasted on all of them. I know FM I pick up FM radio but I’m unsure what the others mean. Thank you.

Bands are all outlined on page 80 of the user manual. Bands 0 to 9 are user customizable: MENU > Srch/CloCall Opt > Broadcast Screen > Program Band. Set upper and lower limits

They show the frequencies but they don’t say what a pager is or UHF TV or VHF TV
54.0000 71.9500 WFM 50 VHF TV Broadcast 2 – 4
76.0000 87.9950 WFM 50 VHF TV Broadcast 5 – 6
470.0000 512.0000 NFM 12.5 UHF TV Band

Pretty sure "Pager" is:
29.7000 49.9900 NFM 10 VHF Low Band

Just to make sure - you do know that broadcast band feature allows you to ignore those bands or your own bands of frequencies in Close Call? So if you add in band 1 a low frequency of 144.00 MHz and a upper frequency of 148.00 MHz, close call will NOT hit on that frequency range. Effectively blocking out anything within that frequency range.

That's why the default bands of TV, Pager, FM, etc are there to block those out so that Close Call does not hit on those frequencies.
