Close Call on BCD-396XT

Hello. I have my CC set to "Scan with Hits", priority ON and Override ON. If I have the scanner held on a single channel from one of the exiting groups, will CC still function? Or does the scanner have to be in "SCAN" mode? Thank you

I believe it should work while holding.

It will override and play the close call hit when one is found.
