My understanding was that CloseCall can't pick up DMR transmissions, due to the short TX time. If that is not the case and it can pick up DMR (which it looks like it can), that is good for me.
Close Call can pick up continuous transmissions. If it's a carrier that only transmit in a few millisecond bursts it cannot do it. I can't remember the minimum time but something longer than a 1/2 second carrier are needed.
I can catch DMR and Tetra from base stations if there are no other strong transmitters in the frequency band at that time.
It was clarified that DMR transmissions from a base station/repeater are no issue, as they are a continuous carrier. The issue is with subscribers, which transmit in 30ms on/off bursts, as DMR is TDMA modulation.
