Thanks to info provided by Abqscan after my last visit to Clovis and not finding the city PD or the Curry County SO, I found the following after spending two nights in Clovis last week.

There is a heavily-used narrowband repeater output on 155.6126, input on 158.9475, using tone 131.8. Unfortunately all traffic was encrypted using the inversion method. I only heard one conversation in the clear running a license plate.

There is a lightly-used narrowband repeater output on 155.2575, input on 158.8425, using a tone of 151.4. It also uses inversion encryption full time. I never heard anything in the clear.

I heard one side of one conversation on 453.0375 during my entire stay, and it was to dispatch a unit to St. Vrain west of Clovis to investigate a dog being abandoned on the side of highway 60. I could not confirm a tone, nor if this was a repeater or simplex since the signal was surprisingly weak for my proximity.

With the full time encryption in use it was impossible to determine who uses which system. I saw one sheriff's unit on the street and it had a VHF 5/8's wave and a UHF 1/4 wave antenna on the roof of the SUV.
