Not sure what you mean most older members here did just fine before here with the tools we had.
For me 45 plus years ago at our electronic shops were typed list kept up by us then Radioshack came out with Police Call we could buy for areas we went to. Back when I had my BC100 scanner or my HX1000 Police Call was very handy.

Meh... I used to run a BBS back in the day. My BBS would be full of radio stuff, as well as links to other BBS's. But by today it wouldn't be on dial-up any longer.

Wouldn't have a clue with out youtube Sentinel is of no help if no internet you tube videos. RR forums not much help either with all the experts neg comments trying to learn.
