CM300 in an 01 Explorer

Im planning on mounting a CM300 under my aftermarket single din stereo. (where the storage slot is) As far as i can tell, it looks like it will fit in real nicely. Is there any special bracket, faceplate, or mount that i can buy to use for this purpose?? Right now, its on the right side of my center console and it can get hard to see while driving. Id much rather it be under the stereo.

I can not help you with your search but two things to be aware of with this.

1. The radio heat sink can get real hot if you are transmitting a lot and when
mounted in a dash there is little to no airflow across the heat sink so it can be
easy to over heat the radio.

2. With the two way radio mounted in such close proximity to the am-fm radio
you may experience interference to your am-fm radio.

Thanks for the reply. I dont plan on transmitting for long periods. Mostly receiving and very little txing...
