I just pick up a CMD 750 to replace my old radio for streaming All I need is 3.5mm bare wire to pin 16?

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Correct but at line level. And not affected by the volume control. You would check the Accy programming for pin 11 and set to Filtered Audio.
As with most Motorola mobiles -- NEVER use Pin 1 or Pin 16 unless attaching an ACTUAL speaker. Grounding or even accidentally loading pin 1 or 16 in an incorrect manner can release the life-time supply of smoke from the audio amplifier IC.

Be aware that there is a DC bias voltage on the filtered RX audio pin. You might have to add a 1.0 uf capacitor in series with the connection to block the DC voltage coming from the Motorola radio if your device being fed doesn't provide for it.

This entire thread is devoted to doing exactly that. The answer to your question is contained in the previous posts.
For a CDM with the 20 pin accessory connector, please re-read Post #3 and pick the "Buy Your Own".
If you have a Motorola with the 16 pin accessory connector, the same seller offers the same kit with a 16 pin mating connector. It's his cable #61.
It doesn't get any simpler than this.
Correctly? As cmdrwill said earlier, program pin 11 for filtered audio and use that pin to get audio out of the radio.

Thanks everyone! And I'm assuming on a XPR series it would be Pin 14 for RX audio and Pon 16 for ground.
IIRC the XPR accessory port pinout correctly; yes that sounds right pin 14 for Rx Audio and pin 16 for ground.

Does it matter on the 3.5mm cable if the left of right is hook up to pin 11?
No not really -- personally I'd attach it to left then use it as a mono source.
