CMPD Lake Patrol

I'm looking for the talkgroup used by the CMPD lake patrol. I know there is a talkgroup listed for EMS lake patrol but I've never heard anything on it. I assume it is one of the North Meck groups or Charlie groups.

I usually hear them dispatched on Charlie 1.

thanks a lot for the info. I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure. Do you know the unit numbers for those guys??

I do not know the unit numbers. I have not really tried to figure it out since they changed to the new unit designation a while back. I live in Huntersville and don't monitor them much.

There is not a lot of activity with them on Charlie 1 (when I do monitor). You will sometimes hear a unit going by the Lake Patrol Office. They will also jump on North Mecklenburg Communications talkgroups and go direct to those dispatchers when necessary. They also use marine frequencies to talk with other jurisdictions around the lake.
