That's a useful map. Just don't believe everything you see on the map as the railroads are either slow to report line changes or the FRA is slow to update their records. For example, the FRA map shows mileposts on a few lines in Indiana that were abandoned 20-30 years ago and turned into trails. Start with the map and then verify with your own eyes.
