U.S.C.G. station Jacksonville Florida,at 17:38 hr's recieved a distress call , Without a name or position or a nature of distress. All mariner's who may of heard this call to please call the U.S.C.G. at Jacksonville Fl. to report your position. [ the reason i report these kind's of distress call's w/o a name or position is i believe there fake calls and anyone who helps the C.G. with a position report thay may be able to triangleate who's doing this.As this is a costly, and a waste of time, that could be spent on a real call... the U.S.C.G. thanks you ]

Are you saying the CG is not using Rescue 21 to already triangulate the signal ?

No, what i'm doing is reporting what the C.G.. say's. The part abt. triangulate was mine, I did not know the reason for them wanting anyone who heard the call , to report there position when heard, just a extrapelation on my part...

The USCG has Recue 21.

The request for anyone to report what they heard, is for mariners to pass along valid info from the Seas where typically there is not Tower for the added triangulation
