Does anyone know what VHF and/or UHF channels they use (not talking about the normal marine stuff)? Is the CG Auxiliary active as well?

I can find stuff for Jax and places south of here but not local.

Try 162.325, USCG Net 111. It's P25, NAC 293. But you won't hear much. Almost all traffic is encrypted. I have never heard anything on the Auxiliary freqs. It doesn't mean they aren't active, I just have never heard anything on them.

When operating under Orders, USGGAUX COMMS, depending on the Sector which have issued them, can be encrypted also.

Most USCG HF has moved to the COTHEN Network.

Guess the rule is YMMV as I have never heard any encryption on 150.7000 by USCG Aux

I was reviewing some of the older posts concerning my area for programming ideas, and pretty soon after I entered 162.325 into my radios I was hearing P25 traffic concerning someone whose location was at a boat dock or ramp. Much of the time the signal wasn't decoding, which doesn't surprise me since I was using a small whip on top on my Pro 96 indoors, but at times I had a good copy on a clear signal.

I'll keep it programmed and see if I can tell if it's just Ponce Inlet which is close by, or perhaps some places farther away from me.
