Coast Guard - Washington DC

I am coming in for couple of days and was wondering what is the frequency for Coast Guard in DC? I tried Google search and haven't found anything stating if they use the UHF band or not in that area.

I would try CG 111 and CG 112 from the USCG LMR channels. Most likely they will be encrypted.

The Auxiliary will most likely be on marine channel 23A 157.150 mHz on weekends and holidays.

This Sector is now named Sector Maryland National Capitol Region (NCR) to better reflect it's Area of Responseabity.

Station Curtis Bay doesn't house the CG Yard as It's the other way around. The base is the CG Yard and Station Curtis Bay is a tenant unit, as is the Sector along with others.

Not encrypted and there is really no need for that.
