Good find. 155.835 is licensed as a repeater input. Check these frequencies for the possible repeater output: ...
155.835000 carrier signature appeared as repeater output, at time of copy (FWIW...)
(and thank you for 154.025 154.055 155.775 :)

Does anybody know... what is a "Snake fire"?
Usage by Dispatcher e.g. :
Truck 123 operate on <frequency> for a Snake Fire at ... <location>
Could be Cochise County terminology,
maybe snake fire = snake removal using fire resources?

I don't see anything on a quick search, but is there a new wildland fire in Cochise County called the "Snake Fire"?

Nothing else makes sense other than it being a fire named the "Snake Fire." I checked the dispatch logs for the Arizona State dispatch center and that of the Tucson dispatch, but there was no mention of a Snake Fire. Maybe it will show up in a day or so.

Telemetry locator beacon frequencies Cochise County, anybody know location of those freqs... seems to have dropped from db.
aka MDT MDC Data

Dropped because those frequencies aren't being used that way. Their MDT/MDC data is done via 4g LTE and NOT a discrete data frequency pair like we did 20 years ago before widespread broadband wireless availability.

SNAKEFIRE meaning/code/word verified. Dispatching with "Nature of the Call" SNAKEFIRE equals SNAKE REMOVAL by Fire Dept.
Terms are interchangeable in Fire calls, as opposed to term SNAKE REMOVAL, which is used by both Cochise County (CC) Animal Control Services and Fire Depts. Weird term likely something to do with differentiation in various CAD pick lists for County Call-Nature codes vs. different types of public services.

SNAKE Incidental comments about snakes In CC, AZ: Since CC area has a lot of snake-removal calls, did a little web research on the area. Most all Arizona's poisonous types of snakes (13?) exist in CC, however it's reported that people frequently misidentify a snake as a poisonous snake and kill them, when it wasn't poisonous. Rather in many cases/in-fact it was a beneficial harmless snake like king snake, gopher snake, bull snake, or many others. Especially true for folks from out of town, not educated in local reptiles. Folks in the area discourage killing snakes as they the take care of a lot of rodent problems (why officials say don't poison rodents, dead rodents kill snakes and a lot of birds). Folks usually call 911 if they find a snake that's in danger range of a human (in home/yard/can't be avoided), otherwise let them go on their way... YMMV. I am not a snake expert and this info is not intended to start a snake thread ;-)

Other keywords SNAKE-FIRE = SNAKE-REMOVAL

Some of the smaller department are still on VHF analog because they con't afford to be on the P25 system. Don't forget to look there.

Found unrelated thread but has interesting title 'Cochise County Unknown Talk Group' Cochise County - Unknown Talk Group

btw:
- Palominas fire vhf freq channel in rr db as 153.83000, no activity during that incident.
- Q-channels seem to always be digital p25 in Cochise county

SDS200 Trunking TGID discover/analyze/log? Looking for tips or tricks how to do an analyze of Talk Groups talk group IDs used and maybe find some things that need updated in RR DB. Can anyone point me to tips or hints on good way to do this?

I'd like to try to trunking discovery for TGs on a known system. Don't know the correct terminology discover or analyze or log or see all talk group id's TGIDs. Have Proscan and it would be cool if it can log these, but that's not a requirement. thanks in advance for any help...

Palominas area 'Q15 800 South' (fire)
New operating / operations talk group name called 'Q15 800 South' P25 TG TGID #? Unknown. P25 system down there seems maybe had a lot of changing. Ref above request for advice how to do log analysis from sds200 to see active TGIDs.

I have found two TG on the Cochise County P25 system: TG 1320 - seems to be a Fire Ground Ops channel covering what Fire West does, and, TG1016 - this seems to be Court or Justice of the Peace channel.

It's worth noting Cochise Co. just licensed a new frequency of 155.52 on Black Knob and Juniper Flats near Bisbee, as well as Cooper Peak (Dos Cabezas) between Wilcox and San Simon.

I'm using a TRX-1 so I have different software than you, however, you should be able to find the same talk groups on Radio Reference that I can. I found the TG's by using the "Wildcard!" TG in both AZWINS - DPS and Cochise County.

I'm seeing several new talk groups, some name changes, and, more widespread use of the trunk'ed system for Fire/EMS. Some of the new names are Fire Talk Group 1: this is TG 1320 and I was initially calling this Fire West Fire Ground Ops, and the SVPD 800 channels are be called ans used as Fire 800 North, Fire 800 South.
There seems to be some talk group changes and additions as Cochise County continues to migrate to their trunk'ed radio system.

I attended the Cochise SEACOM Meeting today, there are going to be a bunch of changes coming out over the next year or two. On the fire side TG 1320 is being called Fire Talk Group 1, not Fire West Ground Ops as I initially called it. They are also going to be adding two additional talk groups but didn't get the names of them yet, they are going to be TG 1321 and TG 1322. On the Sheriff side they added TG 1014 SAR Search and Rescue, and TG 1016 for Cochise Co Jail.
