Likely Iroquois Falls or Black River-Matheson areas.

Iroquois falls is already in the database Cochrane District County, Ontario (ON) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference Perhaps they have a seperate PL tone for both areas.

OK thank you. I guess Iroquois Falls reaches Cochrane because it was crystal clear on the 9am check for Cochrane. lol

The Cochrane FD is on the Spectrum Digital CAP+ system. You will only hear the page call come through on there old VHF channel.

So far, all we have is the Sudbury site for Spectrum. Spectrum Telecommunications Trunking System, Sudbury, Ontario - Scanner Frequencies

I've noted a few frequencies around Nipissing that are showing as Capacity Plus and are licensed to Spectrum:

164.925 cc 4 cap+ spectrum powassan
165.81 cc 4 site 2

These might be part of a much larger system that Cochrane Fire is on.

Would seem to be a part of TAFL Search Results

I'd try 162.270 and 164.370.

If they're part of a Cap+ system, one should be beaconing away every few seconds.

Yes they are on the CAP+ system and they are digital and the only way you can hear them is you will need a scanner that can do TRBO like the BCD 996P2. Or if you use DSD+ Fast Lane on your computer with a scanner hooked up to it.

You can try: 162.270 & 164.370.
