Hi all, I'm trying to help map out the new talkgroups on COIRS - namely Hilliard PD which just went live yesterday (6/11). I'm new to mapping these, so pointers are appreciated.


Here's what I have so far:
TGIDs 20067-76 are not already known, so I'm focusing on those.
20067
20068
20069 - Only caught 1 second of dead air
20070
20071
20072 - Frequent traffic, Sounds like dispatch (HIL PTL 1 ?)
20073 - Brief chatter between officers in station.
20074
20075
20076 - Heard a record check, but sounds more like a tactical channel.

Hilliard also seems to have adopted Dublin's codes (or maybe the BSSA codes Dublin is based on)

In my experience with COIRS, it seems the talkgroups follow that template sequentially. So if you are able to confirm which talkgroup ID corresponds to HIL PTRL 1 (Dispatch), you can be pretty sure the 2nd one down on the template is the dispatch talkgroup + 1. That's not with 100% certainty, but that's how most if not all agencies on the system have been assigned. With a little monitoring, you can confirm that for each talkgroup.
