It is that time of the year again. Last year's college fest ended in 4 fires and 50 arrests throughout the night. It escalated from a all day drinking party to a police vs. students riot complete with pepper balls and tear gas. FD and PD were requested from all over for mutual aid.

This years event will be tomorrow (Saturday April 24th) Starting first thing in the morning. Last year things didn't get interesting until around 6 or 7 PM. The frequencies to follow for fire department command will be 154.235 and PD could be using quite a few. Kent PD's main frequencies is 155.31. Below is the RR database page for Portage County and contains all the frequencies that have the potential to be quite active tomorrow night. As the day goes on I will post what frequencies I am hearing the most on.

College Fest was very lame this year. Very few arrests, no fires, no fights, etc. The cops shut everything down around midnight. Then the heavy rains came. That pretty much ended everyone's fun for the night.
