Collin County - Where to buy a Digital Scanner?

Are there any Uniden scanner dealers in Collin county? I've looked on the Uniden website and can't find anything. Surely there is a reputable dealer in Plano/Allen where I could hold/touch/compare scanners before I buy a new one.

Looking to trade up to a BCD396XT from my 396T, but want to hold it, and then take it home with me if I like it.

Take it from me, the BCD-396XT rules. Just order it from Communications Electronics (Communications Electronics Inc-Emergency Operations Center - Emergency phone: +1-734-995-9000), or Grove. You won't be disappointed.

There are tons of mail order places like http://www.bearcatoutlet.com/ that have great deals on scanners and since most are out of state, you don't pay state sales tax. If money is not object however, and you are willing to pay much more then you can always check Fry's Electronics locally or a Radio Shack.

Fry's only carries the 396T and NOT the 396XT, and RS only carries the PRO-106. Thanks anyway!

No dealers that I'm aware of in the metro DFW area.

The 396XT is the same size as the 396T. Better performance, more features. I've kept my 396T for the time being, but only as a spare or an eventual audio feed scanner.
