In order to trunk track DMR:

Do I need to program in all the freqeuncies or just the Control frequency(ies).

Do I need the select the Color Code for just the Control frequncy or for all the frequencies?

DMR Control Channels's have 2 slots, Voice can be on Slot 2 of the CC, So you do want to add those too..
including the Color Code can prevent interference/false positives from a different user(s) on the same frequency.

Enter the TGID's as ANY. It will allow both CC and slots to show when scanning. If it is programmed from what is in the RR database, the CC and slots will be automatically programmed.

I presume you are using EZScan to program your scanner.

Select ZERO for talkgroup ID (0=ANY) Select ANY for time slot

The color is like the squelch tone, select ANY to not restrict it to one color.

With this setup it operates similar to the "wildcard!" you would use elswhere in ezscan.

Yes, I am using EZ Scan but I am doing my own programming. So tou are ssying in the drop down where you select Any, 0, 1, 2,.3, etc.; I select ANY?

Yes. And Wackyracer is correct also.
Does the system you are programming exist in the RR database in your scanner? If so, use it to program the TGID's, CC, and slot. It's easier.

Set up a Wildcard also. It's in the the same area that you pick entering a New TGID.

Yes. It does exist in RR but I want to program it myself. It is a mixed use Public Safety and Business DMR. I just want to listen to the Police.

Alright. So it seems that there are Time Slots in the Trunked DMR Systems just like in the Conventional DMR Systems. The Color Code is 3, so what would theTime slots be? I see the TomeSlots listed for the Conventional DMR systems. How come there are no Time Slots listed for the Trunked DMR Systems? How do I figure them out?

Time slots are not required on the trunked flavor of DMR TG's it should be set to any* slot 1 & 2 both can be assigned but either way the TG is always going to be the same user regardless of the slot.
