What exactly are these? My scanners stop on them. Most of the time no audio. Sometimes it sounds like a digital burst then open squelch. Has anyone heard voice out of these?

Yes their DMR law frequencies sound great here in Hempstead county!! Also have 155.235 that sounds like it might be ambulance out of Columbia county?

All of them have emissions designation for DMR as well as analog. So if the main Fire repeaters are now DMR, I would think the uplinks for the HT's and so on would be DMR now also. This needs confirmed so if anyone has DMR capabilities, some dedicated monitoring would be wise.

I have DMR capability but I think I’m too far away to receive these well. I will keep trying though.

No, we are not going to DMR anytime soon. We received an AFG in 2014 and have 200 P25 conventional VHF handhelds out. I wanted to do mixed mode, but the association decided against it, so now most departments have DMR radios because of the sheriff's office.
