Columbus Day Parade

Mac-3 is currently patched to Denver PD who is using Tac-6, Car to Car 6, 6A, 6B and 6C and OEM is also open, lots of CSP officers are gathering in riot gear at the capital in preparation for the anticipated parade protests.

First time I've heard Denver dedicate a dispatcher and really use a Mac channel.

I never new there was a parade in honor of Columbus. :roll:

Why can't we get history right? The Vikings were the first to sail to North America.

I think the whole idea of a "parade" and a protest is non-sense.

In two warm cozy houses with the scent of coffee in the air, there are two familys. "Hey honey lets go to the Columbus day Parade and protest." At the same time down the street. "Hey honey lets go to the Columbus day parade and celabrate" :roll: :roll: :roll: The strange thing is, we don't give a damn about Columbus. :lol:

This freaking Denver and Boulder is almost up there with L.A.

Last night some protesters were using FRS/GMRS to coordinate. Mostly on ch. 17 (462.6 MHz)

Do you have a recoding of the audio? It certainly would be very interesting to hear what they have said.

Oh I just can't wait for Christmas, when there will be protesters at the parade of lights. :roll:

The talk was nothing interesting. Mostly just figuring out where the groups were and when they would be at various points. I didn't record any of it since I was driving by headed downtown.
