I wouldn't be surprised to see them go MOTOTRBO like Clay, Jefferson, and Thayer Counties. MOTOTRBO does not cost that much more than analog for a conventional repeater, and encryption capability is included.

Heard digital traffic on 154.725 this morning. Was too weak for my 996p2 to decode audio or a NAC code. Anyone closer to Columbus hear the same thing?

This also could have been Omaha tribe in Thurston county. They have a license for either NEXEDGE or DMR can't remember right now.

I haven't heard anything different over the Humphrey Tower, which would be the most likely site to hear Platte County SO and Columbus PD, if they are using SRS. Osceola Tower would be another site they may affiliate to, but I'm a wee bit too far and too low here in Norfolk to hear Osceola unless I go northwest of town to the hills.
