We've encountered some repeat occurrences lately of public safety BDA systems in the downtown area all going into alarm showing AGC issues from the donor antenna. I haven't seen any measurements yet from the field, sending a tech out now. I'm curious if Columbus has increased power or changed antennas to increase gain? I'm hoping someone in the know has some info. These are all class B boosters so it's possible there's a nice new transmitter belonging to some other entity downtown too.

It's not Columbus' tower doing it. Some other 800 MHz transmitter fired up downtown somewhere.

AEP has an 800Mhz P25 system. I know Electrocomm is going to be migrating their 800Mhz LTR system to a CAP+ system at somepoint.
