Freq BLUE 17 Freq: Nation-Wide CAP freq 282.800

Update: Combat Air Patrol - DFW - Refuling Issues !

CAP (NAS) over DFW at 18:30 local time (Superbowl Sunday) on 282.600 (am) inflight refueling issues between CAP Aircraft and Tanker. Refueling Boom would not properly disconnect - boomer going thru emergency boom disco proceedure in checklist. Then, worked it out with aircraft.

Other CAP flights in orbit for fuel it appears now.

Did you land any callsigns? I am interested in where the fighters came from, which base? If any one knows.

First set of fighters were CAESAR 55/56 and were F-15s from NAS New Orleans. The second set that relieved the CAESAR flight were PEAK (can't remember the numbers). These were F-16s from Buckley ANGB in Colorado. Tankers were NATION 01-04 and BIGFOOT was also active.
