Combining multiple RX stations to one feed

I'm working with a few other people on a project to furnish a webfeed to monitor a section of railroad. We already have one feed online, which covers about 10-15 miles in each direction without much problem, but we had the idea to create multiple receiver points spaced apart to cover a "chunk" of the railroad. We are just trying to find the best option that would reduce overlapping frequencies and interference (I.E. if two receive stations pick up the same dispatcher, it won't sound garbled or anything)...does anyone have any ideas?

What you're wanting to do is receiver voting. There's several ways to go about that. Start with Google.
