What kind of area will you be using the antenna in ? Is distance important to you? Do you mind drilling a small hole in your car?
These are all questions we need to know.

Most of the time, unless you drill a hole use an NMO mount and an antenna with at least twice the gain of the antenna you are talking about, the antennas may not show much, but they won't talk very far either.

Cars are different animals and need a good mount, the NMO to really ground to the vehicle and an antenna with at least moderate gain or you will be dissapointed unless you are just trying to hit some close by repeaters.

If you live in a city with lots of tall buildings, there are some exceptions there as your signal is bouncing all over the place.

Give some more info and you will get some suggestions that will work.

I use the B10. It is equally poor on both bands. So why do I use it..................it fits under the garage door! Every antenna on a vehicle is a compromise. As dksac2 says, pick the one that best fits your needs.

Do know that many of the higher gain, taller antennas can be easily folded over. Look for that feature.
