I am travelling down to the Lake Worth/Azle area of Tarrant Co. to spend some time with my kids and grandkids later this week. I am bringing my Pro-197 (PSR-600) and an outdoor antenna so I can hear better.

I was wondering if anyone might have a Win500 file of the area that they would be willing to share. The Azle library has free wifi so I will have to go there and download it.

I have tried to get as many systems downloaded and stored as I could think of but you know how it goes, the really good ones are not always common knowledge or posted where you can find them.

Thanks in advance.

Trip to North Texas

Howdy Fred

Nice Bike!

Not knowing the type of Scanner (Trunk / Mil-Air / P-25...etc) you will likely have more Freq's in the area to look at, as follows:

1. Texas DPS (highway patrol) mostly P-25 (VHF) now in North Texas, some still on old VHF High Bands
2. County Police & Fire most on VHF High
3. Numerious VHF (high band) Mutal Aid for the areas around Azle & Springtown
4. Navy Joint Reserve Base (formeral Carswell AFB)
5. RailRoad (BNSFor UP mostly in Rail Road Bands)
6. Civilian Air & DFW Airport (High Altitude Enroute)
7. Tarrant & Surrounding Counties (Parker, Denton & Wise)
8. Military Air (Transit and Refueling Tracks mostly west)
9. Fort Woth Police & Fire - mostly on UHF Trunked Systems
10. Tarrant County "Skywarn" 146.940 for Severe Weather & Weather Service (146.920 for Denton County)

Also....Did you check the RR Database(s)?

Hope this helps and have a safe trip!

Thx

Bill
