Can someone tell me where I can find lifeguard frequencies? I plan to go up the PCH and would like to monitor them. Thanks!!

I am probably going to start near long beach and head north. As far as how far depends on my mood. I thought maybe they all worked on a small set of frequencies. Are they fun to monitor? Thanks, Bill

Baywatch Freqs according to FreqOfNature.com:

Los Angeles County Fire Department Baywatch boats are are dispatched on their 37 MHz frequencies and sometimes on VHF Marine Channel 16 (156.8000) by the US Coast Guard. If the original call comes in to LA County Fire dispatch then the dispatch also goes out on the LA County Fire BLUE 8 dispatch frequency.

Generally the Lifeguard beach units or operations headquarters call the boat directly on the lifeguard frequency to assist with an ongoing incident.
