I like the XPR. I use it for 440 DMR and to monitor the local Police and Sheriff. Yes, the internal speaker is just so so. I will most likely mount an external speaker. Constantly turning volume up and down, especially going from DMR to regular FM on the Sheriff and PD. Thanks for the comment.

The XPR4550 is remote mounted. What you see is only the Head. I put a couple of pieces of body molding tape to hold the bracket in place while I installed the screws. It is held in place with 4 screws.
