Compatability

Now that my new BCD396xt is on the way I was wondering if My BCD996xt files are going to be loadable in the portable , or do I need to have seperate Data files for the two units. I assumed they were compatable, but you know what assuming does.... better to ask than screw everything up...hehehehe

They both can use the same data files. Just load your 996XT files into the new unit.

freescan and arcxt can load files into both (possibly other software as well ProScan and RadioMaster Manager XT) but i havent used them personally
