Hey everyone! I'm new to scanning and need some help figuring out how to set up my very first scanner, thank you to everyone who can provide help in advance!!
I got a WS1065 for Christmas this year and have had a very difficult time setting it up. I'm trying to program my local police department into it (https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=601) or more specifically (https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?action=tgCatInfo&tgCatId=3876) and am completely lost on how to get started scanning. I have read through the "easy to read guide" (Easier to Read Pro-651/652/106/197 - WS1040/1065 - PSR 500/600 Digital Scanner Manual) for my scanner and can't figure out how to program in anything... I've tried following step by step in that guide multiple times but I never get any Audio out of my radio (besides static). If you guys could help me out with this I would be really thankful!!!👍🏼👍🏼
