I am monitoring Cell 6 on the South Carolina system. When group ID 112 shows up the computer starts beeping. Also a little "e" is flashing in the "T" column. I have never seen this before. Can someone tell me what this means and also how can I delete this talkgroup from being monitored.

Thanks,

Jerry

Sounds like trunker, and emergency tracking is active.

Edit your trackenv.txt file and add the following line:

Code:
NOEMERGENCY=1

That will stop Trunker from tracking emergency flags on groups... but to elaborate and explain the root cause:

Motorola radios have a little orange "Emergency" button on them. When pressed, it activates the "Emergency" status bit (+2 to base TG ID, i.e. 112 is 110 w/ Emergency) locks the mic open and alerts the dispatch console(s). The mic will remain open and the status bit set until the emergency is cleared by the unit with the button pressed.
