I am attempting to play my scanner thru my computers speakers(and broadcast). I have everything connected properly as I can hear fine. But If I plug in the power adapter it causes very bad feedback. I do not get this feedback on headphones or if I connect the speakers directly to the scanner. Is it possible that it is a computer problem and not a scanner problem?
I posted this in the radioshack forum also. I am using a pro 97 scanner.

try using your line in instead of microphone jack for the audio coming from the scanner and play with the levels, i find its better to have the computer volumes low (for recording nad playback in windows) and turn the devices up, this gets rid of feed back
