Do OPP equip their cars with computers? I find they give alot of detail verbally where say Peel just gives the call and type then check your screen for details.

Most likely do but then it is kind of dangerous to be checking your screen if you are going down the 401 at 110 Klicks
To tell you the truth I am amazed that we don't hear of more accidents involving public safety vehicles due to the fact that they were distracted by there mobile computer screen.

ya, i will agree on the checking screen at 110km/h....i do it way too often with my laptop and scanner in the car, is kinda dangerous if its busy traffic, i have found with the scanner though that i have learned the button placement well enough now that i can actually fiddle with it without taking my eyes off the road
The OPP are slowly getting MDT's installed. They are in the trial and procurement stage. I have seen at least two in Northumberland county with MDT's. Supervisors.
