Comtelco Mobile Antennas

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Comtelco line of antennas sold thru RFWIZ.COM. They have an extensive product line and the fact sheet looks pretty good. Just looking for some input before I make a purchase. Thanks

I have several Comtelco antennas, purchased through rfwiz ....the customer service used to be first-rate, but they seem to be suffering from disorganization lately - my last few orders have been misplaced. Perhaps they are having some computer challenges. Nice folks there, nonetheless.

Comtelco sells decent antennas. I used to sell them regularly, but they never seem to have anything in stock anymore at the factory, so it gets hard to get stuff.

I mainly sell Antenex now. They are, in my opinion, better quality than Comtelco. They are what I use on my personal vehicle, and I am pretty happy with them. My thousands of satisfied customers seem to be as well.

Just a quick follow-up. I did end up ordering the dual-band antenna with trunk mount from Comtelco. It arrived today, and is already installed. so far it's beating the hell out of the RS mag mount I used on my old car. :lol:

I have since ordered the 800 Mhx and an additional trunk mount. I now have one for the VHF radio and one for the 800 radio. Both are having great performance. I am amazed at what I was missing before with the RS Mag Mount. :evil:
