Confirmed VECC Tour

To those that had sent me their information we all are upstanding citizens

We are confirmed for this Saturday, May 23rd at 1300hrs. Please do NOT be late. I suggest we meet outside at 1245. I have the contact details for when we all are there and ready.

Please bring picture ID for verification when we arrive.

There should be plenty of parking in the front lot.

Unfortunately, photos will not be allowed on the operations floor. If we want to have a group photo in front of the building, that is not a problem.

Please plan on approximately 1 hour for the tour. This will include an information/question-answer session and then a walk thru of the operations area.

Sorry I won't be able to attend, I'm in Utica NY for a week. I did arrange a tour a couple of years ago and it was spectacular, you will enjoy it immensely.

What a great time. Our hosts were very informative. We asked many questions that probably caught them off guard from a public group. We got to go on the floor and see the 911 call takers, and all the dispatching. It is a very great facility!

You misunderstood my question. There are three TGs in the Db that are listed as UFA Tac TGs (21376, 21408, 21440) and the question arose in the other thread as to whether these should actually be VECC TGs rather than UFA TGs. Don't tell me you forgot that "conversation" and your promise to find out.

I suppose they are VECC and not UFA ans both UFA and Metro can use them any time.
