confused about decoding

can i use my bct15 and input the discriminator output to my pc then decode digital apco using the bct's discriminator? what programs can do this?

There is no software that can do that. You need a digital scanner.

i thot that i could use a 4 level data slicer in between the scanner and the pc and tune to the apco control channel then use an app to listen in..

You can buy one of Winradio units. It will plug into your PC via a USB port. The unit can be purchased with a P25 audio decoding software option (licensed from DVSI) that will decode the voice frames on your PC.
