Connect multiple radios to one dual-port SWR/power meter?

Newby here trying to setup a very small shack. I have very limited space and will be using a single ATAS 120A antenna. I'd like to be able to connect more than one dual output radio to a single dual input SWR/power meter.

The meter is the ubiquitous Nissei DG-503. It has a switched dual-port input and output (1.6-60MHz/125-525MHz). My main transceiver is a Yaesu FT-857D which also has a dual-port output (50MHz/144-430MHz). So, the 857 should connect directly to the DG-503. For the antenna side of the 503, I'm using a Comet duplexer to connect to the ATAS.

How can I attach another dual-port output radio - or duplexer (for single output radios like HTs) - to the radio side of the 503?

I suppose I can use 2 switches for each of the 503 inputs, but I'd like to be able to switch from one radio to the other with the throw of a single switch.

BTW, I have an AX-17 screwdriver antenna controller to operate an additional non-ATAS compliant radio. To connect the controller to the 503, I planned to use another Comet duplexer.

Much thanks for any help

Looks like a real pain in the azz if you ask me. I agree, my head hurts trying to make sense of all that.

I know new hams like lots of gadgets to play with, but seriously, there's no reason to make it this complicated unless you just want to make things complicated.

Get yourself a proper VHF/UHF antenna. Check the SWR once when you finish the installation, and that's all you really need. No reason to have an SWR meter connected to those radios 24/7. SWR shouldn't change unless you have some serious fault in your system, and you shouldn't. Do it right the first time.

HF radio to the SWR meter makes sense since it's a tunable antenna. But your rig probably has a built in SWR meter you could use.

But, yeah, just skip all that mess, put your money and effort into a good antenna rather than all those diplexers, jumper cables and switches that are just going to cause you headaches.

I Do the same thing, but a simpler version of KJ5JKW's idea. I have 4 Different Vhf/Uhf/Gmrs/1.25 meter radios, going IN to a Alpha/Delta 4 position Switch, and the Switch Input is used as a Output instead, going In to a MFJ 849 {basically the Same Swr meter} and Out to a Comet SRJ 2X4 Mobile antenna for a Stealth antenna install.

Except you don't have 3 switches, 2 diplexers, multiple jumper cables, and an HF radio in the mix. But other than that, nearly identical.
