Over the weekend I decided to try and connect to the ISS's repeater at 437.80000 while it passed overhead. I was able to make contact with other hams several states away. Pretty cool, I'm using a home built vertical dipole and was able to connect only for a few minutes. I might try mounting the dipole vertically and see what happens.
