Has anyone in CT with an SDS 100 updated to the new firmware? If so what are your thoughts? After looking through the Uniden forum not sure weather I should upgrade or wait.

Agree -Yes, I think it is worth it.
I am with you on this update. I think I will wait another few weeks if not a monthI personally will not update yet, waiting to see results from other people using the update.
Me too. I feel no rush to jump in.I am with you on this update. I think I will wait another few weeks if not a month
I like it when others test the products and software firstMe too. I feel no rush to jump in.
As with computers, phones, etc I am wary of updates that could cause issues. It's happened before with other devices.
I've done upgrade and works just fine.I updated the firmware & I actually noticed a slight improvement on analog conventional channels sounding a bit stronger but more or less everything else runs the same
Current firmware should be stored on your computer. My computer has it archived at C:\ProgramData\Uniden\BCDx36HP_Sentinel\Updater. Before you do anything else copy the firmware file and add it to a different folder so you still have it when Sentinel overwrites the stored firmware file in the Updater folder. Thanks guys. I see that Uniden had released several updates after my original post. Maybe they got all the bugs out. Still skeptical on updating though. is there a way to pull the current firm ware version out of the scanner before upgrading just in case I need to change it back?
I have everything up to C:\ProgramData\Uniden\BCDx36HP_Sentinel\. Nothing that says updater. I even searched for it.Current firmware should be stored on your computer.
