I have two dipoles made using copper water pipes, one for 128mhz and another for 300mhz. I would also like one for 450mhz. I have seen various methods for connecting, or daisy-chaining them so only one feed is required.

I'm looking for any advice on the best way to do this using household copper pipe and any warnings on any pitfalls of doing such a thing, or any experience you have with such a set up.

Thanks :)

I haven't connected multiple dipoles together but am wondering what the advantage would be over a single broadbanded dipole like the OCFD (Off-Center Fed Dipole)? Are you hoping for gain?

Connect them both to the same feed point. It's done fairly often and is called a 'fan dipole'. (Of course, since they are made the way they are it isn't going to be as 'simple'/easy as if they were made of wire.) An OCFD is an option and there are a few others, such as a multi-band 'J'-pole.
