Yes if you want to record or stream the audio to the internet. A stereo cable is required.

Take a look at the upload errors text file, it should tell you what went wrong

Are you asking about importing from the RRDB to ProScan or uploading from ProScan to the scanner?

You're a premium subscriber. Import said trunked system via the Radioreference web service (page 19 of PDF manual I linked in Post #18 here
Database Import located in the Menu --> Database --> Import • • RadioReference Web (Subscription Required) - Imports data from the RadioReference Web Service.

As myself & others have suggested, read the manual & it will answer your questions

I thought you already imported a trunk system from the RRDB to the ProScan database.

Did you setup SQKs for the sites in the trunking system? If so then turn on the SQK assigned to the site you want to listen to.

SQKs (Site Quick Keys) are assigned at the site level on trunking systems. I don't see any sites. You will need at least one site. Sites contains the trunking frequencies. Delete the trunking systems then go back to the RRDB Import and import the sites you are in range of.

It's the same procedure as before when you imported the trunk system before. You must of unchecked all the sites. Just uncheck the sites too far away then import. The newly imported systems will append to the ProScan database so you won't loose the existing systems. If you haven't deleted the trunking systems that are missing the sites then delete those then upload to the scanner. When you upload to the scanner, then choose "Delete All Systems In The Scanner..."
