Connscan is gone from the Yahoo Group list. Anyone have any idea what happened?

I been noticing very limited activity for a while. I wonder if Yahoo! has changed the rules.
Strange the way it suddenly disappeared so fast with no warning.....

I will attempt to find out what happened.

I gave the list away a while back because I didn't have time for it anymore.

I would like to thank you CG, AlarmRoom, Firebuff66, and others who made SIGNIFICANT contributions to the ConnScan list over the years. Due to your contributions, the list was a success.

Thank you!

Should I attempt to revive that list? I have a feeling that it was deleted.

Thanks Tom. I'm seeing that Yahoo is having problems.

I was able to log in to my account and it appears that the group is gone.

From the comments I've seen, it appears that some like a more conventional mailing list. Either way, both avenues are now available.

I had started a new Scanconnecticut yahoo group but was waiting to see if CONNSCAN could be reactivated beforing advertising it. It isn't the availability of the groups as much as the archives that I was hoping to see recovered. This website has had some serious deficiencies with data being submitted unverified and approved by out of area moderators.
Regardless of the method of passing info, hopefully the postings will continue.

For everyone's information, I've just received this response from Yahoo.
I'm still checking to see if I can bring back ConnScan but considering that I am no longer the owner, I may not have that capability.
The present owner gives me the impression that he is uninterested in bringing ConnScan back.

I've joined up at scanconnecticut because it's here on Yahoo and that's what I'm used to. Not to mention that Chris (CG) has been one of the most active and best informed members of ConnScan.

The other group mentioned is at google, and is run by the person that I transferred ownership of ConnScan to.

If I have anymore info, I'll pass it along.

Yahoo can say the list was deleted by the owner, but the owner suspects it was a system glitch of some sort.

Tom, Yahoogroups won't deal with me anymore because I'm not the list owner.

Can you see if they will restore the group?

Scanconnecticut yahoo group

I hope everyone will switch within Yahoo. I find dealing with Google groups a pain. Don't forget to post your data files for programming. I zipped everything in my BR330 and BCD396 to a CT.zip file.
