Constant keyup Otsego County Fire Repeater??

Hi,

Has anyone noticed that there is constant keyup on Otsego County Fire Repeater Freq recently?

I have a Motorola MTS2000 programmed for Rx and with pl enabled and what I have been hearing is sounds like a stuck mic constantly and click,click.....

Anyone know whats going on??

No I don't know what is going on but thought it might be a scanner issue until I check the other three and all of them are doing it. I have not heard any comments over the air about it but I am away at work for most of the day and into the evening. I will ask a few questions and post something if I find anything out.

Yes there is a repeater problem and parts are on order. It will be nice to have that channel quite when not in use again.

Ok.That would explain the radio service guy working on it last week when they were running there tone testing...

Yeah,I keep getting that freqs when my radio is on scan mode and I don't want to have to hit my radio's nuisance delete button on my portable since I like to listen to that ch too...
