Sorry guys I had to post this. I couldnt stop laughing when I read it...

Construction workers in Wichita found a Prehistoric Tusk while working on East Kellogg near Edgmoore. Construction was stopped so the tusk could be examined and excavated.

From the Wichita Eagles Editorial and Opinions:

For most of my life Kellogg has always been under construction. I feel that the tusk was left over from an earlier construction crew. This is only proof that this project has gone on for way too long.

Also from Crowleys View:

I am suprised that the School board didnt stop the excavation to explain how the tusk arrived there thru divine intellegence.

At least they are honest in Denver. They named the construction project there T-Rex.

Maybe Wichita should rename the Kellogg project:

Several years ago, the one of the local TV stations had a locally originated comedy program on. One of the jokes that tickled the funny bone was:

"Scientists today announced that our Sun will explode in a giant nova sometime in early April this year. In a related story, the KS Department of Transportation announced that all construction on Kellogg St would be finished and the roadway opened for thru traffic as early as May 1st..."
