11343 Mr X from Boyne. Permission for hotworks on the Fletcher sub. Mentioned Cheboygan sub in the past.

Several of the SEMI talkgroups are often patched together. Making ID'ing the TG kind of difficult.

Need some help.

I’m manually programming the Cedar Springs tower ito an SDS100 so I can listen to Consumers Energy, but I don’t have all the frequencies for the site.

Anyone have a list of those?

Thanks in advance.

I don't understand why you are manually programming an SDS100.

Cedar Spring is in Kent County, correct? Kent County MPSCS is Simulcast so there are no discrete frequencies for a site for you to program.

I don't understand why people have to make things harder than they already are.

Does anybody know where CE dispatch centers are? I'm trying to associate the dispatcher id's I've found to the dispatch center. I can't seem to find anything about it on google.

Consumers Energy talk groups do not affiliate with the Kent Simulcast system.

Consumers talk groups affiliate to the Cedar Springs site only on a separate set of frequencies/control channel in Kent County.

But I figured it out.

Consumers Energy radios do not affiliate to the Kent County Simulcast system at all.

Consumer Energy uses a stand alone affiliation via only the Cedar Springs tower.

Consumers Power radios affiliate to that unique tower and only that tower in Kent County.

But I figured out how to create the site using that single tower. It’s not listed in the MPSCS database with the other towers.

Ok, where did you find the Cedar Springs Tower site information then? Or is it a big secret or you just don't share?

They use the same control channel frequency that the Cedar Springs tower used prior to the switch to simulcast. 853.9375. I just programmed in the Sandusky tower control channels and it works.

At one time it was listed in RR in with the other MPSCS towers, but it was removed after a week or so.
