Contra Costa (Con Fire) "Tippers"

I was listening to Con Fire last night and they were rolling to a vehicle into a house with fire. The first in engine asked dispatch to active "tippers". Does anyone know what that means? Thanks

Do you mean, "Activate" or did they actually say "Active"

Probably the Trauma Intervention Program people (called TIP most of the time). They may refer to them as "tippers". They are basically trained civilian volunteers who help victims emotionally after traumatic incidents.
