First, I hope I am not breaking some rule here. I have had scanners for years but I am still a novice. I am in Contra Costa County andf would like to find someone who can help me answer one simple question. What at the frequencies for the local Securitas security people. Please help

Securitas has two FCC licenses for "Statewide" use, take a look at these:
5 watts, so you may need to be pretty close.
They also have "Nationwide" itinerant licenses, so you may need to expand your search:
They could also be using cell phones, or PTT over cell. Could be using radios that belong to wherever they are working at.

Thanks for responding. I live in Rossmoor in Walnut Creek. I have tried to get the frequency for the local Securitas people but have had no luck. Think I am being stonewalled. I have also tried a limit search on my Home Patrol 2--no luck, Would appreciate any help. Would also be willing to talk on the phone, but don't know how to set it up via this forum.
Rossmoor has a capacity plus system in place for security, shuttle and maintenance. If you're in Rossmoor proper, that's what you need to monitor.
Aaaand, I'm noticing I haven't submitted that system to the DB. I'll get on that. It'll be listed under a "Golden Rain Foundation" license.
FWIW, if you have the capability of monitoring capacity plus DMR systems, here is the info you need for Rossmoor.
