Control Channel Help...

I have 1 primary and 2 backup control channel frequencies in bank 8. 2 of the three are controlling. Recently my scanner seems to only be tuning in using the Winter Garden FL Backup system. When I manually tune to the Orange County Primary control channel there is plenty of activity, but once I start to scan it seems to default to the backup which does not have much activity. What could be causing this to happen, or is it working fine?

It seems that way. I pick up some of the same transmissions from each of the channels

Your scanner is not going to work properly with more than one control channel in a given bank. The frequencies at some or all of the sites must have changed. In order to track the system properly, you will need to keep the frequencies for each site in separate banks.

I am new to scanning, but I was thinking that what Eric has refered would be true. Move it to another bank or try locking out the one you do not want.
